Neon Nails – China Glaze Pink Voltage

It’s sad to say, but my last hot pink mani lasted about as long as my fame, so after watching more and more flakes chip off last night during yoga, it needed to be remedied today.

Something about having bright nails really makes me smile. I think it’s dancing between fabulous and fun and a little bit tacky. Better to have tacky nails than a tacky attitude, right?

Anyway, I decided to dig into my personal collection today and pulled out China Glaze’s Pink Voltage, another neon from The Wow Factor collection. I bought this a few months back, but today was my first time trying it. It’s a little off in the photos, but this polish is SUPER bright. I think last week’s China Glaze Purple Panic was a starter neon for me.

I think it’s the perfect color to brighten up this gray day.

15 Minutes of Fame

I’ve been slacking a bit with my posting this week, but the truth is, I’m just far too busy being famous over on one of my favorite blogs, Glitter She Wrote. That’s right, I’m  in this week’s “On Her Nails” feature wearing some fabulous neon polish.

Here’s a sneak peak:

Super Easy Valentine’s Day Nail Art

While I think nail art is totally cool and envy anyone who has the patience for it … I just don’t have it.  However, with a fading manicure and a new stock of nail polish, I decided to give my friend Anna over at Glitter She Wrote’s Valentine’s Nail Art a try.

I’m not sure what color my base red is since I got them done at a salon, but you could start with any red really.  One of my favorites is Essie’s “Size Matters” from the Cocktail Bling collection.

I was psyched to try out my new China Glaze “Wicked Style” pink polish from the Electropop Collection, which was perfect for her Scotch Tape heart accent nail.  This one was super easy and super cute.
